Tracking numbers can take 5-7 business days to be updated depending on the shipping carrier. This is usually due to the high volume of dispatches on our warehouses every day.

If you notice that your tracking number status has not been updated for more than 5 days after the delivery company shipped the product, please email us at support@theoptimumdetox.com to report the issue. We will then contact the warehouse or the delivery company to find a solution and fix the problem as soon as possible.

Once the product is delivered, you have up to 5 business days to report a shipping issue. 

A picture or video of the shipping problem is required as our warehouse team will open a claim with the delivery company. The carrier can take up to 10 business days to update us on your issue so please be patient. 

We will need:

• Pictures of the outer box (front and back)
• A picture of the shipping label attached to the outer box 
• Pictures of any individual items that arrived damaged

Please be sure you’ve checked all exterior doors and other locations where the package could be placed, including the porch, back patio, garage, and any area out of potential weather hazards. You should also check with anyone, neighbors, or relatives who might have retrieved the package. We have many cases that the packages were with a neighbor or placed in another place than usual.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 

1. SEPARATE THE LID FROM THE FOOT BASIN.

3. COVER THE BASIN WITH ONE OF THE PLASTIC LINERS PROVIDED.   

4. CONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY AND THE ARRAY TO THE CONTROL PANEL. 

5. CHECK IF ALL THE CONNECTORS ARE ATTACHED FIRMLY, PLUGGED FIRMLY IN AN OUTLET THAT HAS ENERGY, AND THE PLUG STAYS FIRMLY ATTACHED.  

6. ADD WARM WATER (APPROXIMATELY 107.6°F/42°C). MAKE SURE THAT THE WATER SURFACE IS OVER THE TOP OF THE ARRAY.  

7. YOU WILL NEED TO ADD A LITTLE SALT TO THE WATER, PLEASE USE THE SPOON PROVIDED IN THE PACKAGE. YOU CAN USE EITHER REGULAR KITCHEN SALT OR EPSOM SALT.  

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 

1. IN THIS MODEL, THE LIGHTS WILL FLICKER WHEN YOU CONNECT THEM. TO START THE PROCESS, YOU WILL NEED TO PRESS THE BUTTON (ON/OFF) AND THEN THE FIRST LIGHT WILL TURN ON AND STAY FLICKING. THE OTHER LIGHTS WILL BE TURNED ON AS SOON AS EVERY STEP STARTS. THE CONTROL PANEL HAS 6 LIGHTS AND WHEN THE PROCESS BEGINS, THE FIRST LIGHT STAYS ON FOR 5 MINUTES, THEN THE SECOND LIGHT STAYS ON FOR ANOTHER 5 MINUTES, AND SO ON UNTIL THE FULL 30-MINUTE PROCESS COMPLETES. 

In today’s world, we are constantly exposed to toxic pollutants which can be found in the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink. People who don’t understand the Ionic Detox technology often surmise that it is not credible because the water changes color without feet in it. With so many brands spreading misinformation about color change, we think it is about time to set the record straight. The main goal of the Optimum Detox is not to change colors in the water, but to relax, energize and stimulate the body's detoxification through its normal processes of urination, defecation, and perspiration. Therefore, strengthening the immune system, assisting with internal body cleanse, and improving overall health.

During the session, the water in the basin will always change to a brown/ orange color whether your feet are in the water or not. This is due to the chemical reaction involving the array, salt, and minerals/impurities in the water. But when feet are in the water, the colors are also affected by oils being released from the sebaceous glands, the dead skin cells, and the user’s own acidity/alkalinity.  

An unusual amount of a particular color may indicate that a person has accumulated toxins in certain areas or from certain conditions and that ionic detox is helping those areas. Always remember that the presence of negative ions in the body mainly helps the body rid itself of toxins through its normal processes of urination, defecation and sweating. Only some toxins leave the body through the pores of the feet. Therefore, color changes in the water should not be the main focus. Instead, focus on how you feel. The Ionic Foot Bath should not be used by individuals who are epileptic, hemophiliacs, or those with a pacemaker, implanted organs, or on blood thinners.

Do not use this appliance if you have any open wounds/cuts on your feet.

This is especially recommended therapy for those who take a lot of medications. The ionic detox foot bath does not eliminate beneficial medications from the body.

To those who are affected by diabetes: the ionic process does affect blood sugar levels. With that said, we advise those with diabetes to be sure that they have eaten before initiating an ionic foot bath.

• Age 12: one session every two or three weeks, each session lasting 10 to 15 minutes.
• Ages 13-18: one session a week, each session lasting 15 to 20 minutes.
• Ages 19 and up: every other day, and do not exceed 3 times per week. Each session should be 30 minutes long.

Initially you can rinse your array with very warm water and pat dry with a towel.  

Immerse the array in a solution mixture of 1 part vinegar to 2 parts warm water for a couple of minutes. Then brush the array to remove excess particles and rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. 

For maximum effectiveness, we advise cleaning the array after each use. 

If the array itself is properly cared for, it will last 50 sessions. The generating rods in the array will eventually lose their effectiveness after approximately 50 sessions. They will eventually lose their conductive properties and will need to be replaced. If the water keeps changing color, the array is working. You just need to replace the array when the water doesn't change color anymore.

• It is normal to feel a slight tingling sensation during a session, but if you experience uncomfortable tingling or itching this is an indication there is too much salt in the water. Use the correct amount of salt on your next session (included in the kit there is a scoop to measure your salt, which is equivalent to approximately 2 pinches of salt or 1/8 of a teaspoon).

• Too much salt will alter the effects of the session: increasing the salt also increases the amperage of the current. To much salt can result in overheating the power unit causing it to shut down and also damage the array. The power supply will not resume operation until it has fully cooled down usually in about 25 minutes. 

• The level of water should cover the array. We recommend using permanent marker to mark the water level. This will ensure the same results with each use with the same amount of water and salt added.

When your machine is continually beeping, it means that you have added too much salt in the water. 

The excessive amount of salt causes the amperage of the machine to exceed the 2.0 mark. 

If you have already added too much salt, simply add more water, or dump out the water and start again.

The following terms apply:

• Refunds will be accepted within 30 days of delivery. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can't offer you a refund or exchange. (please see partial refunds).
• Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping (The shipping cost spent to deliver the product to the customer) will be deducted from your refund.
• Refunds will not be accepted if the reason is a ''missing item'' that is not listed as included in the purchase. All the items that come in every purchase are properly listed in the description.
• The products must be returned in new, resealable condition. Products that are altered, missing parts or damaged (scratches, wreckage, dirty basin, etc.) do not qualify and may be discarded. (please see partial refunds).
• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. This process can take up to 7 business days after the product arrives back. 
• If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. A transaction will appear on your original payment method within 3-5 business days, depending on your bank's processing time. 
• If the address provided by the customer is incorrect and the product returns to the sender, the following rule will apply:Replacement: If the customer wants to receive the product, the customer will receive an invoice with an additional shipping fee.Refund: If the customer wants a refund, the cost of the previous shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.
• If the customer refused to receive the product and the product arrived back to our warehouse, the cost of the previous shipping fee will be deducted from the refund.
• Optimum Detox is not responsible for sending return labels.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS:

• If your items are defective and stop working before the 30-day refund period, in order for us to issue you a 100% refund AND a prepaid shipping label, you must send us a photo/video of the defect. If you refuse to send us the photo/video of the defect, we will not issue you a return label and your refund will be subjected to the values below.

IMPORTANT FACTORS REGARDING REFUND VALUES:

• The items that were returned with unopened boxes will be refunded 100% of the amount. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping (The shipping cost spent to deliver the product to the customer) will be deducted from your refund.

• The items that were returned with opened boxes (regardless of whether the product was used or not) will be refunded 85% of the amount due to restocking costs. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping (The shipping cost spent to deliver the product to the customer) will be deducted from your refund.

• The items that were returned with opened boxes (regardless of whether the product was used or not) and were missing or broken parts  (boxes, manual, dirty basins, liners, etc..) will be refunded 65% of the amount due to restocking costs. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping (The shipping cost spent to deliver the product to the customer) will be deducted from your refund.
